The Powerhouse Project, Nike and The Football Association come together to deliver the UEFA B Prep Programme, a unique coaching experience designed specifically to support ambitious female coaches as they take the next step in their coaching journey.

Our four-month programme combines practical learning, coach development, workshops, industry insight and the opportunity to learn alongside a community of ambitious female coaches.

Now entering Cohort 6, the programme will bring together coaches from across England through three regional hubs in the North, Midlands and London. Participants will take part in three two-day learning blocks, alongside shared opening and closing experiences for the full cohort.

The selected coaches will be supported by experienced FA and Powerhouse Project coach developers, as well as leading figures from across the game. We do this to help coaches develop their knowledge, confidence and coaching practice as they prepare for the next step in their journey.

As part of the legacy of UEFA B Prep, everyone who successfully completes the programme will have the opportunity to apply for a fully funded UEFA B Licence. The UEFA B application and selection process remains separate, and successful completion of the programme does not guarantee a place on the UEFA B Licence.

Participants will also have the opportunity to apply for season-long coaching internships with Powerhouse's Nike partner clubs, subject to a separate application and selection process.

 The programme will run from February to May 2027.

Who is the programme for?

 The UEFA B Prep Programme is designed specifically for ambitious female coaches who are ready to develop their coaching practice and progress towards UEFA B.

To apply, you must:

• Be a female coach

• Hold the UEFA C Diploma or an equivalent qualification

• Currently be working with a team

• Be committed to developing your coaching practice

• Be available to attend all required programme dates

 To apply for Cohort 6, complete the online application form and tell us about your coaching experience, current coaching environment and ambitions for the future.

Applications will be reviewed against the programme's eligibility and selection criteria. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an online interview before the final cohort is selected.
